Conversion exams Prerequisits

Beside Pilots students, we are also offering exam sessions for applicants seeking for a conversion of their existing ICAO license. Those conversions are based on regulation EU No 1178/2011 (EASA Part – FCL) Article 8. The prerequisites for the release to the conversion exams are as following:

 

ICAO ATPL holder (unfrozen ATPL)

  • minimum of 1500 hours (500 hours on multipilot aircraft)

  • valid ICAO ATPL license

  • valid ICAO medical

  • Austro control ATPL Conversion form to be filled, signed and submitted to Austro Control by the applicant.

ICAO CPL/IR holder

  • Theoretical knowledge training with EASA ATO

  • valid ICAO CPL/IR license

  • valid ICAO medical

  • Austro Control ATPL form to be signed and stamped by the EASA ATO head of Training.
